Comparison review
Galaxy S8 Active is just a bit better than Galaxy Note5, with an 81.9 score against 80.2. The Galaxy S8 Active construction is newer than Galaxy Note5's, but it is incredibly thicker and heavier. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active features a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note5. Both have 8 CPU cores and the same RAM memory amount.
Galaxy S8 Active has a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because it has a just a little better pixels quantity per screen inch, a little bit higher 1440 x 2960px resolution and a little larger screen. The Galaxy S8 Active counts with a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Galaxy S8 Active also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB.
The Galaxy Note5 has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor and a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy Note5 also counts with a much more mega-pixels back facing camera.
The Galaxy S8 Active features better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because it has a 33% greater battery capacity.
