Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S10 is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, getting a score of 88.3 against 81.9. Samsung Galaxy S10 is a newer phone, and it's also lighter and noticeably thinner than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. The Galaxy S10 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy S10 also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
The Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S8 Active both feature really similar screens, because although the Galaxy S10 has a bit worse pixel density, it also counts with a little bit higher 1440 x 3040 pixels resolution and a little bigger screen. Galaxy S10 takes just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, a 0.39 inches back-facing camera sensor and the same video resolution, the Galaxy S10 also has better video frame rates and a larger aperture to take better low light photography and videos.
Samsung Galaxy S10 features a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S8 Active, because it has an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB and 64 GB more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active counts with longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S10, because it has an 18 percent greater battery capacity.
The Galaxy S10 costs a bit more money than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
