Comparison review
Galaxy S20 is much better than Galaxy S8 Active, with a 94.8 score against 81.9. Galaxy S20's design is extremely newer, notably lighter and extremely thinner than Galaxy S8 Active. The Samsung Galaxy S20 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Active have very similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy S20 has a just a little less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a bit larger display and a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 3200px.
Galaxy S20 counts with a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because it has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1000 GB and more internal storage. Galaxy S20 counts with just a little better processing power than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy S20 also has a larger amount of RAM.
Galaxy S20 has a better camera than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for taking photos or video in low light situations, and they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the Galaxy S20 also counts with a much bigger sensor which provides a way higher image and video quality and a lot better 7680x4320 video resolution.
Galaxy S20 has a battery duration that's very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active one.
Although Galaxy S20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy S20, else you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, giving up a couple specs and features.
