Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a global score of 98, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active's global score of 81.9. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G's construction is incredibly newer and thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active's, but it is also just a little bit heavier. Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a bit better performance than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, because although it has a little smaller display and a little bit lower 1440 x 2960px resolution, it also counts with a just a little better count of pixels per inch in the screen. Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has much more storage for games and applications than Galaxy S8 Active, because it has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because it has a 5000mAh battery size. Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G counts with a way better camera than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for shooting photographs and videos in low-light environments, it also counts with a way larger sensor providing a way better image quality, a camera in the back with a much higher resolution and a way better video resolution.
Although Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy S8 Active, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S8 Active. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy S8 Active, resigning some features and specifications.
