Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S21 is much better than the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, with a 91.8 score against 81.9. The Samsung Galaxy S21 is a newer phone, and it's also lighter and incredibly thinner than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. Galaxy S21 has a little more vivid display than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a lot less pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a little larger display.
Samsung Galaxy S21 has a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy S21 also has more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active features a bit more storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S21, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
Samsung Galaxy S21 features a superior camera than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same resolution back camera, the Samsung Galaxy S21 also counts with a much better video resolution and a much larger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot higher quality photos and videos.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 counts with a battery performance that is very similar to the battery performance in Samsung Galaxy S8 Active.
Although Galaxy S21 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy S21, else you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, resigning a couple specifications.
