Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, getting an 87.4 score against 81.9. Galaxy S6 is an incredibly older phone than the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, but it's notably lighter and thinner anyway. The Galaxy S6 has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S6 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor and a 64-bits processor.
Galaxy S6 counts with a sharper display than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a little smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit higher display density. Samsung Galaxy S6 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier sensor taking worse quality images and videos and a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing images or videos in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a back facing camera with way more mega-pixels.
Galaxy S8 Active counts with a bit bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S6, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds up to 256 GB. The Galaxy S8 Active counts with a much longer battery life than Galaxy S6, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 2550mAh.
The Galaxy S6 costs a little more money than the Galaxy S8 Active, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
