Comparison review
Galaxy S8 Active has a general score of 81.9, which is a bit better than Xperia Z5's 77.6 score. The Galaxy S8 Active body is newer, but incredibly thicker and incredibly heavier than Xperia Z5. The Xperia Z5 features a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, although it has a lot less pixels per inch of screen, a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a quite smaller screen.
The Xperia Z5 has a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia Z5 also counts with an extra GPU. Sony Xperia Z5 has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting photographs and/or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels and a larger back-facing camera sensor taking higher quality videos and photographs.
Galaxy S8 Active features a much better memory capacity for apps and games than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy S8 Active features a really longer battery life than Xperia Z5, because it has a 38 percent larger battery size.
Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is also a bargain compared to the other ones, making it an easy decision.
