Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 Active has a score of 81.9, which is a bit better than Xiaomi 12's 78.8 score. Even though Galaxy S8 Active is a better phone than Xiaomi 12, we must note that it's also an a lot older, somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker phone. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a much better performance than Xiaomi 12, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
Xiaomi 12 features a display that is very similar to the Galaxy S8 Active one, because although the Xiaomi 12 has a way lower 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a lot worse display density, it also counts with a little bit larger screen. Xiaomi 12 shoots much better photos and videos than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low light images and video, it also counts with a lot bigger back camera sensor capturing much better quality videos and photographs, a lot better video resolution and a lot more MP back-facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active counts with a bit bigger memory for apps and games than Xiaomi 12, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows up to 256 GB. Xiaomi 12 features a bit superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S8 Active, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
