Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9T is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, getting a overall score of 82.2 against 81.9. Xiaomi Mi 9T's body is newer, just a little bit lighter and thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. Galaxy S8 Active has a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi 9T, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a better pixel amount in each inch in the screen.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a slightly bigger storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9T, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. Xiaomi Mi 9T's processing unit is very similar to the Galaxy S8 Active one, and although the Xiaomi Mi 9T has a larger amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.
Xiaomi Mi 9T takes much better photos and videos than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for capturing pictures and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also counts with a lot larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a way better resolution back facing camera.
Xiaomi Mi 9T has a battery performance that's just as good as the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active one.
