Comparison review
Galaxy S8 Active is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, with an 81.9 score against 77.5. Although Galaxy S8 Active and the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 were only released 2 months apart, Galaxy S8 Active's construction is just a bit lighter but also incredibly thicker than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. The Galaxy S8 Active counts with a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. They have a Octa-Core processor and 4 GB of RAM memory.
The Galaxy S8 Active features a better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per inch in the screen and a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. The Galaxy S8 Active features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a back-facing camera with a 12 megapixels resolution, the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Galaxy S8 Active also has a larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a much bigger aperture for better low-light photography.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows 128 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because it has a 33% more battery size.
Even being the best phone in this comparison, Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is also by far the cheapest one, making this phone a great choice.
