The Galaxy S8 Active has a general score of 81.9, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's 81.2 overall score. The Galaxy S8 Active is a heavier and extremely thicker phone than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active counts with a little sharper display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a greater number of pixels per inch of screen.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has just a little better processing power than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a much greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Galaxy S8 Active captures clearer photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy S8 Active also has a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality and a bigger diafragm aperture for better images and videos in low-light environments.
Galaxy S8 Active has longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has an 18 percent more battery size.
