Galaxy S8 Active has an overall score of 81.9, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Poco M3's global score of 78.2. The Galaxy S8 Active is a incredibly older, a little bit heavier and a bit thicker phone than the Xiaomi Poco M3. Galaxy S8 Active has a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Poco M3. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.
The Galaxy S8 Active features a much better display than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater count of pixels per inch of display and a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution. Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a slightly bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 features a much better camera than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also counts with a much larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.

Although Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Poco M3. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Poco M3, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
