Comparison review
Galaxy S8 Active is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, having a overall score of 81.9 against 75.8. Although it's the best phone we compare here, we must note that it is also heavier and somewhat thicker. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active counts with a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active counts with a better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2960 resolution and more pixels per inch in the display. Galaxy S8 Active takes slightly better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have a same resolution camera, the Galaxy S8 Active also has a way higher (4K) video definition and a lot larger camera aperture to take better low light captures and video.
Galaxy S8 Active counts with a slightly better memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Galaxy S8 Active also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 256 GB.
