Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a global score of 81.9, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7's 80.3 score. Even being the best in our current comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is an older, heavier and somewhat thicker cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher display pixels density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active features a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. Both have 8 processing cores and a 4 GB RAM. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 counts with a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 256 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also has more internal memory capacity.
Galaxy S8 Active and Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 have incredibly similar battery durations. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 takes better pictures and videos than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also counts with a lot more mega-pixels back camera, better 120 fps video frame rate and a way larger sensor providing a lot better image quality.
