Comparison review

The iPhone 8 Plus has a general score of 87.1, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy S8's general score of 81.7. Even though the iPhone 8 Plus and the Galaxy S8 were only released with a couple months difference, the iPhone 8 Plus body is incredibly heavier but also just a little thinner than the Galaxy S8.

Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a little more vivid display than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a greater amount of pixels per screen inch, a much better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and a bit bigger screen. IPhone 8 Plus has a bit better performance than Galaxy S8, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit.

IPhone 8 Plus features a lot bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S8, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. The iPhone 8 Plus takes just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier sensor and a smaller camera aperture which is not good for capturing pictures in low light situations, and they both have the same video resolution and the same resolution back facing camera, the iPhone 8 Plus also counts with better 60 fps video frame rate.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 features just a bit longer battery duration than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity against 2691mAh.

Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S8. So if you want that extra features, you can buy iPhone 8 Plus, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy S8, letting go a couple specifications.
