Comparison review
The iPhone XR is a little bit better than the Galaxy S8, having a overall score of 82 against 81.7. The iPhone XR is a newer phone than the Galaxy S8, but it's just a little bit thicker and incredibly heavier. Samsung Galaxy S8 features a little bit better looking display than iPhone XR, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per screen inch and a much higher 1440 x 2960 resolution.
IPhone XR counts with a faster processor than Galaxy S8, because although it has less RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit. IPhone XR takes a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light images and video, and they both have a same size sensor, the same (4K) video quality and a 12 MP camera in the back, the iPhone XR also counts with higher 60 frames per second video frame rate.
Samsung Galaxy S8 features a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than iPhone XR, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. Apple iPhone XR and Galaxy S8 both have quite similar batteries, although the Apple iPhone XR has just 2942mAh battery size.
Although Apple iPhone XR is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S8. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Apple iPhone XR, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S8, letting go some features and specifications.
