The Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate is much better than Samsung Galaxy S8, with a global score of 94 against 81.7. Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate is a noticeably newer phone than the Samsung Galaxy S8, but it's a lot thicker and notably heavier. The Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate counts with a little better processing power than Galaxy S8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate also has more RAM.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate features a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a much lower 1080 x 2448 resolution and a way lower number of pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a bigger display. Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate captures much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs and/or video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a much bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a way better resolution camera in the back and a way higher video resolution.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate counts with a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S8, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 448 GB more internal storage. Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate has a very superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has a 100% greater battery size.
