Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4 XL is slightly better than Galaxy S8, with a overall score of 82.9 against 81.7. Even though the Google Pixel 4 XL is a lot newer than the Galaxy S8, it's heavier and just a little thicker. The Galaxy S8 has a little sharper display than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels, it also counts with a just a little higher pixels density.
Samsung Galaxy S8 features much more storage for games and applications than Google Pixel 4 XL, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. Google Pixel 4 XL features a little faster CPU than Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Google Pixel 4 XL also has 2 GB more RAM.
Google Pixel 4 XL has a camera that's very similar to the Galaxy S8 one, and although the Google Pixel 4 XL has a higher 12.2 megapixels resolution camera, they both have the same video quality, the same video frame rates, a same size sensor and a F1.7 camera aperture. Google Pixel 4 XL features longer battery duration than Galaxy S8, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity.
Although Google Pixel 4 XL is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S8. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Google Pixel 4 XL, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy S8, resigning some specs and features.
