Comparison review
Google Pixel 5 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S8, having an 89 score against 81.7. The Google Pixel 5 is a just a little lighter cellphone than the Samsung Galaxy S8, but both are equally thin. Galaxy S8 features a bit more vivid display than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a greater amount of pixels per inch in the screen.
Samsung Galaxy S8 has a little bit more storage to install applications and games than Google Pixel 5, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 256 GB. The Google Pixel 5 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Google Pixel 5 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Google Pixel 5 has a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S8, because it has a 36% more battery size. Google Pixel 5 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have a F1.7 aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a same size camera sensor, the Google Pixel 5 also has a more megapixels camera in the back and better video frame rate.
Although Google Pixel 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S8. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Google Pixel 5, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S8, letting go some specs and features.
