Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 is slightly better than Huawei Mate 20 lite, getting a overall score of 81.7 against 76.2. Galaxy S8 is an older and a little bit thicker phone than the Huawei Mate 20 lite, but Samsung managed to make it a little lighter anyway. Galaxy S8 features a little bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher count of pixels per inch in the screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.
Huawei Mate 20 lite has a slightly better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Huawei Mate 20 lite also has an external memory slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Galaxy S8 has a little better performance than Huawei Mate 20 lite. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and 4 GB of RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy S8 has a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because although it has a much lower 12 mega-pixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a bigger diafragm aperture for better low-light captures and videos.
