Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 30 has a score of 84, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S8's overall score of 81.7. The Huawei Mate 30 construction is a lot newer, but notably heavier and a little thicker than the Samsung Galaxy S8. Huawei Mate 30 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S8, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei Mate 30 also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Galaxy S8 has just a bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution and a better quantity of pixels per inch in the display. The Huawei Mate 30 takes a lot better pictures and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for capturing images in low light situations, and they both have the same video definition, the Huawei Mate 30 also counts with faster 60 frames per second video frame rate, a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing much higher quality videos and pictures and a much higher resolution back camera.
Galaxy S8 has just a bit bigger storage for applications and games than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows up to 256 GB. The Huawei Mate 30 counts with a much better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.
