The Galaxy S8 is slightly better than Huawei P10 Plus, with an 81.7 score against 79.8. The Galaxy S8 body is thicker but just a little bit lighter than Huawei P10 Plus, and both were released only 1 months apart. The Huawei P10 Plus features a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei P10 Plus also has 2 GB more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy S8 has a slightly better display than Huawei P10 Plus, because it has a little bit more pixels per inch of screen, a little higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a little larger display. The Huawei P10 Plus counts with a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have a SD card slot that admits up to 256 GB, the Huawei P10 Plus also has more internal memory capacity.
The Huawei P10 Plus counts with improved battery lifetime than Galaxy S8, because it has a 25 percent bigger battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S8 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Huawei P10 Plus, and although they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has a larger diafragm aperture.
