Galaxy S8 is slightly better than Huawei P20 Pro, getting an 81.7 score against 81.4. Galaxy S8's design has the same thickness than the Huawei P20 Pro, but it is somewhat lighter. Huawei P20 Pro has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Galaxy S8 features a little sharper display than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixels density and a better 1440 x 2960px resolution. Huawei P20 Pro counts with a much better camera than Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a lot more mega pixels back facing camera and a way bigger sensor capturing much better quality videos and photographs.

Huawei P20 Pro counts with greater battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
