LG G8 ThinQ is slightly better than the Galaxy S8, with a general score of 84.3 against 81.7. Although the LG G8 ThinQ is newer than Galaxy S8, it is just a little bit heavier and just a bit thicker. The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also has more RAM memory.

LG G8 ThinQ counts with a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a just a little less pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a little bigger display and a little bit higher resolution of 1440 x 3120. The LG G8 ThinQ captures a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller sensor capturing lower quality videos and photos, and they both have a 12 MP camera in the back and the same (4K) video resolution, the LG G8 ThinQ also counts with higher video frame rate and a larger aperture.

LG G8 ThinQ features a much greater memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has 64 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG G8 ThinQ features just a bit longer battery life than Galaxy S8, because it has a 17% more battery size.

Although LG G8 ThinQ is a better device, it costs more than the Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S8. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy LG G8 ThinQ, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy S8, letting go some specifications.
