Comparison review
The Motorola edge has a score of 89.6, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S8's global score of 81.7. Even though the Motorola edge is notably newer than the Samsung Galaxy S8, it's heavier and somewhat thicker. Motorola edge features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S8, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Motorola edge also has a greater amount of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a more vivid screen than Motorola edge, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and a better pixel density. The Motorola edge counts with a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S8, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1000 GB and more internal storage.
The Motorola edge features a way better camera than Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light images and video, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Motorola edge also counts with a much bigger sensor providing a way higher image quality and a camera in the back with a much better 64 MP resolution.
Motorola edge counts with a really longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
Although Motorola edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S8. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Motorola edge, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy S8, giving up a couple features and specs.
