The Galaxy S8 is a little bit better than Moto G7 Plus, having an 81.7 score against 76.1. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy S8 is older than the Moto G7 Plus, it's design is just a little thinner and lighter. Samsung Galaxy S8 features a sharper display than Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a better pixel count per inch of screen.
Galaxy S8 features just a bit better processing power than Moto G7 Plus. Both of them have 4 GB of RAM and 8 CPU cores. The Moto G7 Plus captures just a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing lower quality videos and photos, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the same 30 fps video frame rates and a same size aperture, the Moto G7 Plus also counts with a much more mega pixels camera in the back.
Motorola Moto G7 Plus has a bit bigger storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Motorola Moto G7 Plus also has an external SD slot that admits up to 512 GB. The Motorola Moto G7 Plus features a battery life that's very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S8 one.
