Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S8 has a general score of 81.7, which is slightly better than the Moto Z3 Play's 76.3 overall score. Although Samsung Galaxy S8 is older and thicker than the Moto Z3 Play, it's design is still a little lighter. Galaxy S8 has a more vivid display than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960.
Motorola Moto Z3 Play has a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Motorola Moto Z3 Play also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a bit superior processor than Motorola Moto Z3 Play. Both of them have 4 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core CPU.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Moto Z3 Play count with extremely similar batteries. Samsung Galaxy S8 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Moto Z3 Play. Both have a 0.39 inches camera sensor, a same resolution back-facing camera, the same 3840x2160 video resolution, a F1.7 aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate.
Even being the best phone in this comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is also by far the cheapest one, which makes it an obvious call.
