Comparison review
Galaxy S8 has a general score of 81.7, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A31's general score of 81.3. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy S8 is a lot older than the Samsung Galaxy A31, it's body is lighter and a bit thinner. Galaxy S8 has a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960.
Samsung Galaxy S8 features a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy A31. Both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. The Galaxy A31 counts with a superior camera than Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting images in low-light situations, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a way larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back facing camera with way more mega-pixels.
Samsung Galaxy A31 has a slightly better memory for games and applications than Galaxy S8, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 512 GB. The Galaxy A31 features a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has a 67 percent bigger battery size.
