Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S8 is a little bit better than Galaxy A6, getting a score of 81.7 against 75.8. The Samsung Galaxy S8 body is just a little lighter than the Galaxy A6, although it's a little bit thicker and was released only 13 months before. The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a way better display than Galaxy A6, because it has a way higher screen pixels density, a bit larger display and a much higher 1440 x 2960 resolution.

Galaxy S8 has just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A6, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy S8 also has 1 GB more RAM memory. The Galaxy S8 counts with a better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy A6, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 256 GB against 400 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy A6, because although it has a back camera with much less MP, and they both have a same size aperture, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also counts with a bigger back camera sensor which gives a better photo and video quality and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.

Galaxy A6 and Samsung Galaxy S8 both count with extremely similar batteries duration.

Although Galaxy S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy A6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy A6. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy S8, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy A6, giving up some specifications.
