Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A71 is a little bit better than Galaxy S8, with an 87.5 score against 81.7. Samsung Galaxy A71's body is a lot newer and just a little bit thinner, but also somewhat heavier than the Galaxy S8. The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a better quantity of pixels per screen inch.
Galaxy A71 counts with a much greater memory to install applications and games than Galaxy S8, because it has 128 GB internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with a processor that's just as good as the Galaxy S8 one, and although the Samsung Galaxy A71 has a greater amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The Galaxy A71 has a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh. Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with a very superior camera than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing pictures or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also counts with a much larger sensor capturing lot better quality photos and a lot better resolution back camera.
Although Samsung Galaxy A71 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S8. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy A71, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy S8, giving up some specifications.
