Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Alpha, with an 81.7 score against 76.3. Galaxy S8 is a noticeably heavier and thicker phone than the Galaxy Alpha. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with a bit superior CPU than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and less cores , it also counts with a graphics processing unit.
Galaxy S8 has a little bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px, a way higher screen pixels density and a bigger display. Galaxy S8 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have a same resolution camera in the back, the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Galaxy S8 also has a way larger camera aperture to capture better low light photography.
The Galaxy S8 counts with a superior memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 256 GB and 64 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy S8 features a much better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is also a lot cheaper.
