The Samsung Galaxy S8 has an overall score of 81.7, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy C5's general score of 76.4. Samsung Galaxy S8's design is newer than the Samsung Galaxy C5's, but it's a little heavier and somewhat thicker. Samsung Galaxy S8 has a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy C5. Both have 8 cores and a 4 GB RAM memory.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a sharper screen than Galaxy C5, because it has a much better 1440 x 2960 resolution, more pixels per screen inch and a little bigger screen. The Galaxy S8 captures slightly better videos and photos than Galaxy C5, because although it has a much worse resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a way better (4K) video quality and a bigger aperture.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a bit bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy C5, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. Samsung Galaxy S8 has a little longer battery lifetime than Galaxy C5, because it has a 15% greater battery size.
