Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 is slightly better than the Galaxy Note7, getting an 81.7 score against 79.5. The Galaxy S8 design has the same thickness than the Galaxy Note7, but it is a little bit lighter. The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a little sharper display than Galaxy Note7, because it has a slightly higher 1440 x 2960 resolution, a just a little greater display density and a little bigger display.
Samsung Galaxy Note7's memory capacity for games and applications is very similar to Galaxy S8's one, both have an external SD slot that supports up to 256 GB and equal 64 GB internal storage. Galaxy S8 features a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note7, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy S8 also has a greater number of cores.
Samsung Galaxy Note7 has a little longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity. The Galaxy S8 features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note7, although it has a smaller camera sensor shooting worse quality photos and videos, they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the same 30 fps video frame rates, a same size diafragm aperture and the same (4K) video resolution.
