Comparison review
Galaxy S20 FE has a global score of 90.8, which is much better than the Galaxy S8's global score of 81.7. The Galaxy S20 FE design is way newer than Galaxy S8's, although it's a bit thicker and somewhat heavier. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE features a bit better processing unit than Galaxy S8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE also has more RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater display pixels density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px. Galaxy S20 FE has much more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S8, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 1000 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy S20 FE captures slightly better photographs and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting photographs and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same resolution back-facing camera, the Galaxy S20 FE also counts with a much larger back-facing camera sensor providing a much better image quality and faster 60 frames per second video frame rate.
The Galaxy S20 FE has a very superior battery performance than Galaxy S8, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S20 FE is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S8. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Galaxy S8, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
