The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a general score of 98, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy S8's 81.7 general score. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G body is noticeably newer than Samsung Galaxy S8's, but it is notably heavier and thicker. The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G features a bit better processing power than Galaxy S8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G also has a greater amount of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy S8 features a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit better pixels quantity per inch of display. The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S8, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G counts with a way better battery performance than Galaxy S8, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 3000mAh. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G features a much better camera than Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for capturing photos or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a way better video quality, a much bigger camera sensor and a camera with a lot better 108 MP resolution.

Although Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S8, resigning a couple specs and features.
