Comparison review

The Galaxy S8 has a score of 81.7, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy S5 Plus's general score of 78.1. The Galaxy S8 is a notably newer and just a bit thinner phone than the Galaxy S5 Plus, although it is a little bit heavier. The Galaxy S5 Plus features a slightly better screen than Samsung Galaxy S8, although it has a quite lower pixel density, a bit smaller screen and a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a much better storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB and 48 GB more internal storage. The Galaxy S5 Plus has a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a graphics co-processor.

Galaxy S5 Plus and Galaxy S8 both feature quite similar cameras, because although the Galaxy S5 Plus has a much smaller aperture which is not recommended for capturing photographs and/or video in poorly lited situations and a tinier sensor which offers a lower photo and video quality, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a back camera with lot more mega pixels.

The Galaxy S8 counts with a little longer battery life than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is also very cheap compared to the other phones.
