Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S8 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, getting a overall score of 81.7 against 80.9. The Galaxy S6 Active features a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a 64-bit processing unit and an additional graphics co-processor.
Galaxy S6 Active features a brighter screen than Galaxy S8, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better number of pixels in each inch in the display. Galaxy S8 has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a back facing camera with way less mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality and a larger aperture.
Galaxy S8 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because it has 32 GB more internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features just a little bit longer battery life than Galaxy S8, because it has a 17 percent more battery size.
Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the Galaxy S8 is also by far the cheapest.
