Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 Active has a score of 81.9, which is slightly better than Galaxy S8's 81.7 general score. Even being the best in this review, Galaxy S8 Active's body is extremely heavier and way thicker than Galaxy S8. Galaxy S8 Active features a processor that's just as good as the processing unit in Samsung Galaxy S8, both have 4 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Galaxy S8 Active and Samsung Galaxy S8 both feature really similar displays, both of them have the same amount of pixels in each inch of display, a display with the same size and the same 1440 x 2960 resolution. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has as much storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as Galaxy S8, both of them have equal internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 256 GB.
The Galaxy S8 Active has greater battery lifetime than Galaxy S8, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh. The Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Active both have really similar cameras, they have the same video frame rates, a same resolution camera in the back, the same sensor size, the same (4K) video quality and the same camera aperture.
Although Galaxy S8 Active is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S8. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy S8 Active, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S8, giving up some specifications.
