Samsung Galaxy S9 has a score of 83.3, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S8's 81.7 score. Even though the Samsung Galaxy S9 is newer than the Samsung Galaxy S8, it's a little bit heavier and a little thicker. Samsung Galaxy S9 features a bit better CPU than Galaxy S8. Both have a 4 GB RAM and a Octa-Core CPU.
Galaxy S9 has a display that is just as good as Samsung Galaxy S8's screen, both have the same exact 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution, the same display pixels density and a same size display. Samsung Galaxy S9 shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size, a same resolution back facing camera and the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy S9 also has faster 60 fps video frame rate and a larger diafragm aperture to take better low light images and videos.
The Galaxy S9 features a slightly better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy S9 also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 400 GB. Samsung Galaxy S9's battery duration is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy S8 one.
