Comparison review
Xperia 1 VI has a global score of 83.2, which is a little bit better than Galaxy S8's overall score of 81.7. The Xperia 1 VI design is much lighter and thinner than Galaxy S8. The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a really superior performance than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.
The Galaxy S8 has a slightly better looking screen than Sony Xperia 1 VI, although it has a little smaller display, a bit lower resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a bit worse pixels number in each screen inch. Xperia 1 VI shoots greater videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for shooting pictures and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xperia 1 VI also counts with a way bigger camera sensor which provides a much higher image and video quality, a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back and better video frame rate.
The Sony Xperia 1 VI counts with a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S8, because it has 256 GB internal memory and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The Xperia 1 VI features a really longer battery life than Galaxy S8, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
