Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is a little bit better than Sony Xperia Z5, getting an 81.7 score against 77.6. Although Samsung Galaxy S8 is newer than the Sony Xperia Z5, it's a bit heavier and just a little thicker. Xperia Z5 has a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy S8, although it has a lot worse pixel density, a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a little bit smaller screen.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Xperia Z5, because it has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB and more internal memory capacity. The Sony Xperia Z5 features a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with an extra graphics processor.
Xperia Z5 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a much more MP camera in the back and a larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Samsung Galaxy S8 features just a little bit longer battery life than Xperia Z5, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity instead of 2900mAh.
Even being the best phone in our comparison, Galaxy S8 is also very cheap compared to the other phones, which makes this phone a great choice.
