Comparison review
Galaxy S8 has a score of 81.7, which is just a bit better than Xperia Z5 Premium's 79.8 overall score. The Galaxy S8 is a lighter device than the Xperia Z5 Premium, but both are 0.31inches thick. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an additional graphics processor.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a much better screen than Galaxy S8, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better pixels density and a higher 3840 x 2160px resolution. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a slightly better camera than Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for low light photography, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
Samsung Galaxy S8 features a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 256 GB and 64 GB internal memory. Xperia Z5 Premium counts with just a bit better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity.
