Galaxy S8 has an overall score of 81.7, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's 77.7 global score. The Galaxy S8 construction is a little bit lighter but a bit thicker than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher display density and a better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a little bit more storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a CPU that is just as good as the Galaxy S8 one, and although the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has more RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite takes a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8, although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for low-light images, they both have the same camera sensor size, the same video resolution, a back camera with a 12 megapixels resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates.
