Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9 has a score of 83.2, which is slightly better than Galaxy S8's overall score of 81.7. Xiaomi Mi 9's construction is newer and a little thinner than Galaxy S8's, although it is also somewhat heavier. Samsung Galaxy S8 features just a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher number of pixels per inch of screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 features a bit faster CPU than Galaxy S8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a greater amount of RAM. Xiaomi Mi 9 features a very superior camera than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also counts with faster 60 fps video frame rates, a lot bigger sensor which gives a lot higher image and video quality and a back facing camera with much more mega pixels.
Galaxy S8 has a bit more memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits up to 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with just a bit better battery performance than Galaxy S8, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity.
