Comparison review
Galaxy S8 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, getting an 81.7 score against 81.2. Galaxy S8's design is a little thicker but somewhat lighter than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and they were released only 6 months apart. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Galaxy S8 features just a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher quantity of pixels per display inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. Galaxy S8 takes clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 video definition and a camera with a 12 megapixels, the Galaxy S8 also has a bigger aperture for better photos and videos in low light situations and a larger back camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and photos.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with just a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy S8, because it has a 3400mAh battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 not only is the best devices of the ones in this comparison, but it's also a bargain compared to the other ones.
