Samsung Galaxy S8 is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, getting a overall score of 81.7 against 76. The Samsung Galaxy S8 design is a bit thicker but a bit lighter than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and they were released with only a few months difference. Galaxy S8 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of 2.35 GHz cores.
Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a brighter display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a lot higher 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution, a little bigger display and a greater pixels count in each inch of screen. Galaxy S8 captures better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a back-facing camera with way less MP, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture to take better low light photography and a bigger camera sensor.
