Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is slightly better than Xiaomi Poco X2, getting a global score of 81.7 against 79.3. Samsung Galaxy S8 is an way older cellphone than the Xiaomi Poco X2, but it's lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a brighter screen than Xiaomi Poco X2, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better number of pixels per display inch and a higher 1440 x 2960px resolution.
Galaxy S8 features a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Poco X2, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy S8 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 256 GB. Xiaomi Poco X2's processing unit is just as good as the CPU in Galaxy S8, and although the Xiaomi Poco X2 has a larger amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The Xiaomi Poco X2 captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing images and video in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xiaomi Poco X2 also counts with a much larger back camera sensor providing a way higher image quality and a camera in the back with much more mega-pixels.
Xiaomi Poco X2 features a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
