Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S8 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, with a global score of 81.7 against 79. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is an much older cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, but Samsung made it thinner and noticeably lighter. Samsung Galaxy S8 features a better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and more pixels per inch of screen.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's processor is very similar to the Galaxy S8 one, both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a better camera than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low light photos and video, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also counts with a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a camera with a much higher 48 MP resolution.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features just a bit more storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a really longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has a 5020mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Galaxy S8 is also a bargain compared to others.
