Comparison review
IPhone 8 Plus has an overall score of 87.1, which is slightly better than Galaxy S9's 83.3 overall score. The iPhone 8 Plus design is somewhat heavier but a little thinner than the Galaxy S9, and they were released only 6 months apart. The iPhone 8 Plus features just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores and slower, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU.
The Galaxy S9 features a bit more vivid display than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a lot higher 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution, a greater screen density and a bit larger screen. Galaxy S9 features a slightly better camera than iPhone 8 Plus, and although they both have the same video frame rate, a 12 megapixels resolution back facing camera and the same video quality, the Galaxy S9 also has a bigger aperture to capture better low light photography and video and a larger back camera sensor taking better quality pictures and videos.
The iPhone 8 Plus features a greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Galaxy S9 counts with a bit longer battery performance than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has an 11 percent bigger battery size.
Although Apple iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy S9. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Apple iPhone 8 Plus, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S9, giving up a couple specs and features.
