Comparison review

The iPhone XS has a global score of 84.2, which is slightly better than the Galaxy S9's 83.3 overall score. Although the iPhone XS and the Galaxy S9 were only released with a couple months difference, the iPhone XS construction is just a little heavier but also a little thinner. The Apple iPhone XS counts with a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has a lower number of cores, and they both have the same RAM amount, the Apple iPhone XS also counts with a 64-bits processing unit.

The Galaxy S9 and the iPhone XS feature really similar displays, and although the iPhone XS has a much lower 1125 x 2436 resolution and a bit lower pixels number per screen inch, they both have a display with the same size. The Galaxy S9 features a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than iPhone XS, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy S9 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 400 GB.

The Galaxy S9 counts with just a little better battery life than Apple iPhone XS, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2659mAh. The Galaxy S9 features a little bit better camera than iPhone XS, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, a 12 mega-pixels back facing camera, the same sensor size and the same 60 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy S9 also has a larger camera aperture.

Although iPhone XS is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy S9. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S9, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
